2xu Lock is the ultimate in sports compression, providing the athlete with the "locked" in feeling that gives them the freedom to perform. The idea was conceived around the idea of muscle stabilization during high-intensity activity. I looked to the medical sphere for inspiration and how kinesiology tape was used by elite level athletes but the use was one off. TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) printing was used to enhance the fabrics compression properties cross-bracing design around key muscles gave the athlete a locked in feeling previously only achievable through tape.
